“Predestination” uses decidedly odd pacing, beginning with a ‘bang’ and following that up with almost an hour of subdued plot. Time travel is handled quite well in this Australian film, focusing less on the effects of travelling back (and forth) in time than other sci-fi films. “Predestination” is an incredibly original and creative film, employing what may seem like ‘common’ aspects of the science-fiction genre, and putting a darker, grimmer twist on them. Tag-Lines : To save the future, he must reshape the past. Now, on his final assignment, the Agent must pursue the one criminal that has eluded him throughout time. PREDESTINATION chronicles the life of a Temporal Agent sent on an intricate series of time-travel journeys designed to ensure the continuation of his law enforcement career for all eternity.
